There are a lot of ways to get targeted traffic to your affiliate websites but my preferred method (and the method that I recommend) is the one where you don’t have a fee for each visitor your website gets (such is the case with PPC advertising.)
What I mean is that I spend my precious time building links that point towards my high quality content websites which include landing pages designed for high conversion rates. These pages usually link to an affiliate program of some type such as this Clickbank diet affiliate program.
By building these links I increase the search engine rankings for my landing pages which in turn leads to extremely targeted web traffic that can turn into affiliate commissions at a high rate.
My main method of building links for better search rankings (for more targeted traffic which equals more ClickBank sales!) is through article distribution services and among my favorite of these services is Article Ranks.
With ArticleRanks each of my articles (which can include three links each) goes out to so many different article sites that I can build up hundreds of links with a single article put in the system.
The main key to getting the the best results out of such a service is to ensure that your target pages are focusing on the right keywords and that you are linking back with the right anchor texts.
You will most likely have the best success going for “long tail” type keywords rather than going for big competition keywords. Instead of shooting for just plain “lose weight” or “diet” you should instead go for keyword phrases like “online diet” and “lose belly fat.”
One great feature of Article Ranks is that you can very easily embed a YouTube video with each article. This lets you get a lot of links back to your video so that it can rank in the search engines itself and bring more traffic to your landing pages (you should, of course, include a link to your website in the YouTube description.)
This link to the video does not count as one of your three links, so when you include a video you are able to include four links instead of three.
Unique Article Wizard and Article Marketing Automation are also recommended.
